Pavel Buchnevich was placed in NHL COVID-19 protocol Friday and will miss the next two games.The forward will not play against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday or the Nashville Predators on Monday.Buchnevich is tied for the Blues lead in goals (14) and is second in points (35) in 34 games this season.Buchnevich joins forwards Vladimir Tarasenko, Brayden Schenn and David Perron, and defensemen Colton Parayko and Scott Perunovich in protocol.Tarasenko and Perunovich, who have missed three games each, and Schenn and Parayko, who have missed one game each, could return against the Maple Leafs."It's a little bit soon (to tell)," Blues coach Craig Berube said Friday.
