Rudy Giuliani has been hospitalized in Washington, DC, after testing positive for the pandemic coronavirus and exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19.The former New York City mayor and personal lawyer for President Trump appeared to confirm he had tested positive for the virus in a tweet late Sunday evening, thanking people for prayers and kind wishes. After Trump announced Giuliani’s infection Sunday, the Arizona legislature announced it would close for a week due to “recent cases and concerns relating to COVID-19.”On Wednesday, Giuliani had traveled to Lansing, Michigan, for a long, unusual hearing, in which he again appeared maskless among other maskless attendees, including lawyer Jenna Ellis, who sat next to him.
