Summary

Punk and grunge pics are ostentatiously unposed and unfiltered, which is exactly how the Pixy rolls.Snapchat's new teensy camera drone is adorable and incredibly easy to use. If you don’t want to waste time and money wading through cheap drones on Amazon, and you want selfies that are more dynamic than what you'd get with a selfie stick, the Pixy is a good buy. Then hold the drone in your palm and move it up near your face so the Pixy can lock onto the location of your head and body; once it has done so, a light on one side of the camera turns green. After about 15 seconds, marvel as it flies back down to your outstretched hand.To get your videos off the Pixy and onto your phone, spin the drone's silver dial to Standby mode. The Pixy is head and shoulders above all of the other tiny drones we've used, both in terms of ease of use and its automated flight features, which are still just good enough to keep the drone from smashing directly into a window and sending my 4-year-old into a screaming fit. If you can only use it on sunny, windless days with slow-moving friends—well, how many people like to hang out and have fun in windy, driving rain? One big question I have right now is whether you'll actually be able to get a Pixy anytime soon. I would also like to note that the Pixy fits perfectly in this sharp little pouch I had lying around.Snapchat PixyRating: 6/10If you buy something using links in our stories, we may earn a commission.
