Trump's tweets on Sunday echoed  comments made last week by Fox News host Tucker Carlson who accused her of not being "grateful" for being welcomed into the U.S. and of instead having "undisguised contempt for the United States and for its people." "I believe as an immigrant, I probably love this country more than anyone that is naturally born," Omar said while speaking at a Netroots Nation event on Saturday. I do it every day when I hold your admin accountable as a U.S. Congresswoman," Tlaib said in response to Trump's call for the congresswomen to fix the corrupt "places from which they came." "Detroit taught me how to fight for the communities you continue to degrade & attack," she said.
